Choosing the Perfect Design and Color Scheme:
When it comes to continuous concrete curbing, the design and color scheme play a significant role in achieving the desired aesthetic for your landscape. Here’s how the selection process works:
Your Role – Color Selection:
As a valued customer, you have the opportunity to choose the top colors, known as releases. These are the primary colors that will be prominently visible in the curbing. Your choice of releases allows you to customize the look and feel of the curbing to match your preferences and property.
CurbWorks’ Expertise – Releases and integral Concrete Color:
While you have control over the release colors, the professionals at CurbWorks will assist you in determining the integral color used to determine the actual concrete, if necessary. This ensures a harmonious blend between the released and the concrete itself, resulting in a cohesive and visually appealing final product.
Your Decision
Design and Stone Selection:
When it comes to the design of the curbing, you have the liberty to choose from the selections provided on our website. This includes choosing the type of stone pattern that best complements your property’s style and your envisioned design. The stone selection plays a key role in achieving the desired texture and appearance of the curbing.
At CurbWorks, we’re here to guide you through the selection process, ensuring that your chosen design and color scheme align with your landscaping goals. Our goal is to create a curbing design that not only enhances the aesthetics of your property but also reflects your personal taste and preferences. Let’s work together to bring your vision to life!
Exploring Curbing Choices at CurbWorks
At CurbWorks, we offer a range of curbing options designed to cater to your unique preferences and landscaping needs. Here’s an overview of the four levels of curbing we provide:
Level 1 – Slick Curbing:
Sleek and straightforward, Level 1 curbing features clean lines without any stamps. This style creates a polished, modern look for your landscape, whether your curbing is straight, flat, or slightly angled.
Level 2 – Roller Stamp Curbing:
Our Level 2 curbing introduces texture and depth with the use of roller stamps. These stamps come in a variety of designs, allowing you to choose a pattern that complements your property. Release colors are used during the stamping process to enhance the visual appeal.
Level 3 – Rubber Stamp Curbing:
Similar to rubber stamping used for patios and driveways, Level 3 curbing involves intricate rubber stamping techniques. This adds a more intricate pattern and texture to the curbing, creating a decorative and visually appealing effect.
Level 4 – Deep Style Stamps with Hand Carving:
Level 4 curbing takes customization to another level. With deep style stamps and meticulous hand carving, this option provides an exceptional level of detail and sophistication. Each stone is individually carved, resulting in a truly unique and artistic appearance.
Pricing and Color:
As you explore the different levels, it’s important to note that each successive level (from 1 to 4) comes with increased complexity and detail, leading to a slight price increase. Additionally, for Level 2 and above, colors are introduced to enhance the design. These colors contribute to the overall aesthetic, creating a stunning visual impact.
At CurbWorks, we’re here to help you make an informed choice that aligns with your vision and budget. Whether you prefer the simplicity of Level 1 or the intricate detailing of Level 4, our team will work closely with you to create curbing that transforms your landscape into a work of art.
Understanding Pricing for Curbing Options
When it comes to pricing for our curbing options, we want to ensure transparency and accuracy in the estimation process. While Level 1 curbing starts at $9 per linear foot, there are additional factors that can influence the final cost. Here’s what you should consider:
1. Property Terrain:
If your property has a slope or elevation changes, it may require additional time and effort to properly install the curbing. This could impact the overall cost due to the extra labor and materials needed.
2. Obstacles and Setup:
The presence of obstacles such as trees, shrubs, or other structures can affect the installation process. Setting up curbing around obstacles might require additional time and specialized techniques, which can influence the pricing.
3. Sod Removal and Disposal:
Before installing curbing, removing sod is often necessary. The time and effort involved in this process, as well as the disposal of the removed sod, can contribute to the overall cost of the project.
It’s important to note that while Level 1 curbing starts at $7 per linear foot, the final cost will vary based on the specific characteristics of your property. Our goal is to provide you with an accurate and customized estimate that takes all relevant factors into account.
When you request a quote from CurbWorks, we’ll carefully assess your property, considering its terrain, obstacles, and other variables. This enables us to provide you with a comprehensive estimate that reflects the true scope of the project. We’re committed to offering fair and transparent pricing for all our valued customers.
Preparation and Installation Process
At CurbWorks, we’re dedicated to ensuring a smooth and efficient curbing installation process. Here’s an overview of what you can expect leading up to the installation day and on the day of the project:
Day Before Installation:
To guarantee that all necessary preparations are completed, we’ll confirm that any discussed removals have been taken care of.
For larger projects, especially medium to large-sized jobs, we might perform preparatory work the day before. This ensures that everything is set for the installation day, allowing us to begin the curbing process promptly.
Installation Day:
Our team will arrive at your property at approximately 8 a.m.
You can expect three to four skilled team members to be present for the installation.
We will start laying the curbing as discussed and in the prepped areas.
If there are any decisions that need to be made before the installation begins, these should ideally be addressed on the previous day. This allows for a seamless workflow on the installation day.
Our goal is to provide you with a timely and efficient installation process while ensuring the highest quality results. By completing necessary preparations and addressing decisions beforehand, we can focus on delivering the curbing you envision while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Your satisfaction and a smooth experience are of utmost importance to us at CurbWorks.
